THE D.O.C. TRENTO METODO CLASSICO APPELLATION CAPTURES THE ESSENCE OF THE TERRITORY IT COMES FROM: TRENTINO
The vine is an integral part of the landscape in Trentino, where vineyards flourish far up into the hills, blending harmoniously with the mountain environment.
The D.O.C. Trento Metodo Classico appellation was the first of its kind in Italy and the second in the world. This exclusive appellation is all about passion, experience, strict rules and continuous controls. It’s about an indissoluble bond with its territory and the work it takes day in day out to produce the character of Trentodoc.
MOUNTAIN BUBBLY
The fundamental element for Trentodoc is the uniqueness of the Trentino territory: a combination of vineyard altitude, climate conditions and the peculiarities of the soils.
Its characteristics are determined by tradition and the specifications laid down for Trentodoc: a Metodo Classico sparkling wine produced exclusively from quality Trentino grapes harvested by hand.
The Trentodoc brand highlights one of the main characteristics of the Metodo Classico technique: remuage, represented by the two “O” featured in the logo, which recall this rotating movement.
Chardonnay
Due to favourable climate conditions, Chardonnay is one of the most widely cultivated grape varieties in Trentino.
It plays a key role in the production of Metodo Classico sparkling wines, giving Trentodoc wines finesse, longevity and depth of aroma.
Pinot Noir
A very old grape variety that has adapted well to the climate conditions in Trentino but requires specific care, which is why it is only cultivated in a few selected areas.
Gives Trentodoc sparkling wines body, structure and elegance.
